Back From Sacred Craft

My head is still spinning after yesterdays trip to Sacred Craft

To say it is overwhelming is to just scratch the surface of the experience.

So a quick post today while I organize my thoughts and clear my head a bit.

Mark Thomson at the Sacred Craft show

I talked to 100 people yesterday about surf mats and despite my best pantomiming some of them still didn't get it. I promised that I would put up a clip today that would give them a taste.

I personally saw lik 7 or 8 mats sold in an hour... some buying 2 at a time...

the SD mat crew exploded! too many good mat waves down there...

Mark said he was doing well at the show. I should have had flyers printed up about the mat meet this weekend. He could have handed them out as he sold mats...

Nice clip But do they hold in heavy bowl sections or just 1 to 2 foot. I have yet to see this. I've seen them out in heavy conditions and time after time I see they don't hold. Perhaps a fin or two.

Eric, I have found that the trick, as it were is to use the fins already on your feet to hold yourself in place on steep sections no additional fins needed.
