Pardon me, but have we met before?

Would your name be Winter?

THE FIRST PACIFIC STORM WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ON
TUESDAY...BRINGING A CHANCE OF RAIN AND GUSTY ONSHORE WINDS.
DRIZZLE AND LIGHT RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE MONDAY NIGHT INTO
TUESDAY...GIVING WAY TO SCATTERED SHOWERS DURING THE DAY TUESDAY.
RAINFALL WILL MOSTLY BE LIGHT WITH THIS SYSTEM. UNSTABLE AIR
MOVING OVER THE COASTAL WATERS INTO THE ADJACENT COASTAL AREAS
WILL BRING A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS EARLY TUESDAY
MORNING.

THE SECOND AND MUCH STRONGER PACIFIC STORM WILL MOVE THROUGH ON
WEDNESDAY...BRINGING A PERIOD OF MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL LATE WEDNESDAY INTO EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. LINGERING
MOISTURE AND STRONG ONSHORE FLOW WILL CONTINUE SCATTERED SHOWERS
AND POSSIBLY SOME ISLAND BAND CONVECTION INTO THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
STRONG GUSTY WINDS ARE EXPECTED IN THE MOUNTAINS AND
DESERTS WEDNESDAY THROUGH LATE THURSDAY...WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH
POSSIBLE.

Before you or I get all excited about this let me point out that although weather.gov has this "Special Weather Statement" on there site weather.com has temps 10 degrees higher for the same period and a considerably smaller chance of rain.
