I strained my back a few weeks ago in an epic battle with the weeds in my back yard but I'm on the mend. Well I was until I got a note from my dermatologist yesterday saying that a "wider incision" would be prudent on a basal cell he removed last week. That will probably keep me out for a while. Makes me think back on the marginal times I looked at the surf and didn't go. At least I hadn't bought a new winter wetsuit yet;)
