June Gloom

May and June have come and gone

The 4th has passed too

So when will the rain stop?

(I actually thought about putting the 1969 Burt Bacharach hit "Rain drops keep falling on my head"  right here but there is already so much suffering in the world I thought why add to it?  But while we are on the topic did anyone ever do a punk cover of rain drops?  That would be so rad!)

Anyway, so despite a rather gloomy weather situation and a south wind that seems to have no intention of ever stopping there has finally been some surf.

I watched as the rest of the long weekend crowd did battle at a host of secret, semi secret and spots that got air time on channels 2, 4 and 7.

Not epic but better that a poke in the stick with a sharp eye!
