Tax Day

Here in the US it's tax filing day

I for one don't have a problem paying my taxes

It could be simpler, that's very true and corporations could pay their share ...
but that isn't going to happen any time soon

I would gladly pay more

if it meant that education and healthcare were free for everyone

Back in school we talked about the two things a government could provide for it's citizens

Guns or Butter

That is a strong defense or offense depending on how you view it

or social programs

one OR the other

but not both

Other than that it's a fine spring day
