I get up before the sunrise

lately it's been the only time

you could catch a bit of cool air

this morning

in the dampness

it was actually

not hot

(I am saving the word cold to use at a later date)

cool enough

to wonder where my sweatshirt might be

I never did find it

probably nestled in with the Ugg boots.
