much too fast

or maybe

it's been too hot too long

but things just

spontaneously combusting

doesn't seem as surreal

as it used to

this week the forecast

calls for cooling

and next week

some rain

my first thought was

would that be

acid rain

or

raining down fire?

a cool gentle rain

doesn't seem

likely

only time will tell
