Autumn sweating from the heat

covered in insect bites

finally done in by high gas prices

and back to school sales

Winter threatening El Nino

more rain and wind

than you would ever

want to sea

stands in foul weather gear

dripping on the rug

I pause and wonder

will a hoody and ugg boots

be enough?
