Bird Songs and Coffee Grounds - Springtime Soon Enough

 

two-four time 

Spending some time this morning

listening to the birds singing

a mixture of new spring tunes

and the classic winter dirges

sounds like

the local jr high jazz band

practicing something in a

new tempo

no one can find the groove

I listen for a few moments

then turn back to the house

for that solace

only coffee

can provide
