.SYNOPSIS...
High pressure aloft will continue warm days and cool nights across
Southern California through Thursday with light offshore flow at
times. Areas of dense fog will form near the coast and over the
coastal waters the next few nights. There will be a noticeable
change in the weather next weekend when a trough brings colder,
windy weather and a chance for showers along and west of the
mountainous regions.

This year being so odd in so many ways

the changes in weather does give me a modicum of solace 

The planet still wobbles and the seasons change

The summer tourists go back to whence they came

The beach, once again, belongs to no one
