 Let's talk surf cars. Everyone's favorite car from back in the day drumroll please...The bug!

Add a set of Aloha racks and you can take 4 buddies (maybe more) and their long boards to Trestles for the glass off. What about MPG? The trip from HB to Trestles could be financed by cashing in pop bottles found along PCH or any other major street. People just tossed them out the window. A couple of bottles could fetch 25 cents and gas was 23 cents a gallon. We got to surf the glass off at Trestles split amongst a few friends. Loved it!
Still paying for the sunburn though. Tomorrow, "The VS Bus"
