I ride an inflatable dog bed

I ride an inflatable dog bed. I actually ride a surf mat but in an old post on 23 Breaths (long since deleted) I told the story of a surfer who paddled up to me at a popular break and asked me if I was riding an inflatable dog bed. I didn't want to waste the time of such a creative and imaginative fellow so I answered "Why yes, I am riding an inflatable dog bed".  Much to my amazement he nodded like he met people surfing inflatable dog beds every day and turned and paddled off. It was about then that I began to understand that this was no regular surf craft.
