There was a football game?

The plan was simple.

Get everything done on Saturday 

A quick surf on Sunday morning

followed by a big bunch of

nothing 

(well nothing combined with pizza)

Saturday when off with out a hitch

But when I got to the beach on Sunday ...

I hadn't seen this many cars in the parking lot since the last  fourth of July! 

Oh yeah, HB has a big Super Bowl Sunday marathon

They have done it for years 

but it still catches me by surprise.

Every time

But I found a spot

and even though the lot was packed

the beach was empty.

Weird

So far this is the best thing I've found in our haul from the library book sale.  

Written by some guy named Ed Hillary.  

I wonder if he knows anything about the mountains?
