only wind and a t-shirt

 

fifty new shades of green
explode from the landscape

wind from the south
areas of night and morning low clouds
burnt off by noon
except on the beach
it must be Spring

The freeway
full of
longtime lost
souls
escaping
the heat
the news
or perhaps themselves

head in to the coast
to take in the waters
but alas
they get only wind
and a t-shirt
