All the best summer days happen in the fall

 32

This morning's instrument

of my distraction

as the cat and I

wait for the Fall

I welcome the cold

The little blip of heat

that defines me

grows tiresome

I welcome the cold

Let the breezes blow

All the best summer days

happen in the fall
