Meteorological Spring,

generally thought of as the whole month of March
as opposed to Astronomical Spring (March 20th)

is a time of transition

Winter turning to Summer

Cold turning to Warmth

Not "Another Trip Around"

but a continuous trip around

Since we actually had a winter this winter

it takes some time for the rain to stop

and then the swell direction to change

but all in good time

Some things don't happen often enough
if at all
in reality
but only seem to have happened
in the past
but somehow
never occurring
in the present

So Winter will turn to Spring
perhaps without notice
then Spring will
give way to Summer
in its usual
foggy fashion

The fourth will find us
looking at a dead lawn
cursing the heat
and the hordes of tourist
