aging is the most natural of processes

but it seems that I'm always waiting for whatever is coming next

when I was 12, I actually wanted to be a teenager - I was a slow learner

when I was 15  I wanted to be 16 so I could drive - "Red Asphalt" nuff said

when you are 18 you can vote, get drafted and buy smokes - not really into those last two

when you are 21 you can drink alcohol - I passed on the binge and vomit ritual

when you are 65 you get into the phase 1A group for the covid vaccine

so I wait
