Handplane Hoedown Lowdown

When you go to the handplane hoedown you expect to see handplanes

and paipos

and more handplanes

 and more paipos

and then of course

there are the people that make the paipos

and the handplanes

 and do the artwork

and just hang out and discuss it all

In fact such a good time was being had

that the beach patrol showed up

just to make sure we all knew that there were 

rocks in the water

I decided it was time to suit up and get in the water

letting my "better half" 

handle the photography 

and beach mingling

She does know how to get my "good side"

There was a small army of surf photographers

and the odd local to deal with

All in all a good time

there was even surf this time!
