Something you don't see every day

Venkman: Or you can accept the fact that this city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions.
Mayor: What do you mean, "biblical"?
Ray Stantz: What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath-of-God type stuff!
Venkman: Exactly.
Stantz: Fire and brimstone coming down from the sky! Rivers and seas boiling!
Spengler: Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes!
Winston Zeddemore: The dead rising from the grave!
Venkman: Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats, living together! Mass hysteria!
Mayor: Enough, I get the point!

Or as we like to call it, an inch of rain in Southern California...

So as you take a break from building your ark
I have something special for you today,
the nice people at Patagonia put this together.

George Greenough talking about "getting the shot" for his movie

The Innermost Limits of Pure Fun

Some of the footage has never been presented before
and the narrative is as they say "priceless"

Kind of boring nowadays...

I agree. I'm so tired of people pulling into double overhead barrels on a mat with heavy homemade cameras alone in the lineup in Australia in 1970. And then annotating it. Yawn.

Me too.Amazing for the time, but rather be riding it than watching it.Gopro and constant selfying has numbed the thrill.

Boy, sarcasm just does not translate into type it seems.

It's Greenough. The guy that spearheaded what you do, and might know how to do it better than anyone else, communicating his ride. Jesus.

Thanks for narrating it and most of all, thanks for doing it. It opened doors of possibility for us all. And the best was, it was really done in a sense of fun, not as a calculated financial "investment" or "promotion".
Just sharing the fun.
