how lucky I've been

As the sun sets on another summer

and the US Open

brought to you

thru the combined sponsorship

of the prison guards union

and the united glass workers

makes it's way out of town

I think back to the "Meet Ups"

I've had the privilege to attend

Where waves were shared

along with the latest shapes

and maybe an orange

or if you were really lucky

some avos from the family tree.

That shared grace that is Aloha

Makes me realize how lucky I've been
