No name required as that could only be MT aboard an MT5 enjoying some great waves whilst in the States recently! A pretty unmistakable style of riding generating incredible speed. Do correct me if I am wrong?
Robin, Good guess but no. I have taken a vow of secrecy or I would give hints.

Whoever it is,he/she/it missed some good sections.S turn back under the breaking lip, slot into the pocket,off-the-lip,brief tailslide then still time to put the hammer down and glide into the reform. But what do I know?Rare we have such luxuries here...it's not a performance sport.
Missed good sections... I dunno. Bearing in mind always that what we get out of our surfing is and should be personal and unique, I'm still figuring out what a mat does best, and the sensations I'm loving the gliding, trimming , fall-line speed runs, less so the cutbacks-to-pocket position moves. I get what this rider is doing, seeing how far they can get, finding the reform that way.
I get what you're saying too. It's so compelling, isn't it, exploring the limits of what these things can do!
Really now that is a surprise. Anyway, agreed TB, when you get a wave that size with such a lovely face on it why wouldn't you relish the speed it provides and leave the delights of the pocket for a day when the waves are smaller. Piskian mate, I would love to see you in action on a wave like that!
