of Spring into Summer

The euphoria of the spring into summer season is tempered by many things

The temperature, taking it lead from the depth of the marine layer

can do a bit of a roll-a-coaster

some how the colder days are always the weekends

But I'm long past worrying about things like that

but still

I wonder

"how do it know?"

The South wind

which can be quite a scourge this time of year

has been slacking off

and last night, it just might have, glassed off

and as I sit here

chewing an everything bagel

the dog's hot glare burning holes in the side of my head

I pause and notice that there isn't much wind the morning either.

it could be good
