taking a break from the roar

With all the hustle and bustle of the day to day
I have decided I need a break
So the question for today is

Weirdly large hand plane

or freakishly small Paipo?

i have one of those also b,aq wava hull57 they were made in carlsbad california in the early 80's i think they also made a belly board spoon type thing i saw it on line once. i bought mine in santa cruz at a yard sale for $5.00 super score. mine is blue i'll post it on my blog sea of my mind. its a super fun hand board and catches and holds the line well. hold on to it they are hard to find

Daniel - I heard they made blue ones from Dano (a local shaper). It's super fun! My son won this one at some raffle and gifted it to me. I'll keep an eye out for the spoon thing. They are totally plastic but it does work well. Mine floats enough to sit on when I'm outside waiting on sets. Keeps my head just above water. Try that with a regulation hand plane! I added your blog to the list, thanks for posting the pics.

i put the larger belly board thing on my blog i thought it was more of a spoon like the old bellyboggers but it looks really awesome.

Hybrid. Brand new latest vacuum packed soul gun as ridden by Rasta. Surfer mag says you gotta have one in the kwivva if you're gonna roll with the new age old-stylers.

I saw it in a mag.
