I celebrate the wobble

 

As this rock
we all cling to
hurls through
space

one of a few small stones
gracefully swirling
around a decidedly
minor star
in a quiet
corner of the galaxy

a wobble about
our planetary axis
gives us
the seasons

going forward

it adds a handfuls of seconds 

of sunlight each day

pretty soon

you've got yourself 

a summer

which make all the difference
