ahhhhhh - the almanac post

 I doesn't really change with the turn of the calendar page.

The seasons saw back and forth between modes

Last week a dose of muggy tropical moisture

Along with some hurricane swell

made the days seem hotter that the air temperature would indicate

The nights even more so

For the weekend some clouds 

a gift from a weak trough along the coast

moderated the day and nighttime temps

ahhhh 

This week after a decidedly fall feeling Monday

complete with clouds, some dew and even a touch of grey fog

the heat is back up 

at least away from the immediate coast

so summer inland 

fall on the beach

the equinox is September 22

I think that's the day I'm getting my flu shot.
