That really hurts

Great film from back in the day.

(I love the artifacts on film. Little black blobs floating thru the images. Wonderful!)

Since my early days of skateboarding coincided with metal wheels

wheels that would come to a dead stop in deference to the smallest grain of sand

sending the rider airborne

I cared less for the experience of flying thru the air aimed at

a tree, a car fender or the cheese grater asphalt covering the road way.

I was also not thrilled with the parade of my peers with their arms in a cast

So I stayed in the water

I did manage to break my hand but a skateboard was not involved

It does look like fun though
